Weee Directive
Electrical and electronic equipment disposal

Weee Directive

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (Weee Directive) is the European Community Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Consumer Information

Some Aid Call products contain substances which can be hazardous to the environment if they are not correctly disposed of.

Electrical and electronic equipment should never be disposed of with general household waste, and must be separately collected for proper treatment and recovery.

The crossed‐out bin symbol, placed on a Weee related product, reminds you of the need to dispose of that product correctly at the end of its life.

The correct disposal of Wee related products will assist in the recovery, recycling and reuse of many of the materials used in these products.

Weee Waste Collection Request

Aid Call is happy to arrange the collection of all Weee related products manufactured AFTER August 2007.

Please complete an FM0755 and email it to paul.biggs@legrand.co.uk

Products manufactured BEFORE August 2007 require disposal in accordance with the latest legislation, but are the responsibility of the end‐user.

Electrical and electronic equipment should never be disposed of with general household waste and must be separately collected for proper treatment and recovery.
