A better deal for older people

Aid Call is owned by Age Concern, Britain’s largest charity and network working for older people.

A charitable and campaigning organisation, it seeks a stronger voice and a better deal for Britain’s fast-growing older population.

Aid Call is the leading company in its field and its emergency response system is used in private homes, by charities, nursing and residential homes and local authorities. All net income generated by Aid Call is used to fund and support the work of Age Concern.

About Age Concern

Age Concern campaigns with and for older people, developing policy, influencing Government (e.g. Let’s Make Pensions Work - Age Concern's campaign to end poverty in retirement, Breaking Barriers - Age Concern's campaign to break the barriers of age discrimination).

Locally, Age Concern offers a wide range of services for older people including home care services, day centres, luncheon clubs, social clubs, computer training day trips, transport, and holidays etc

Nationally, Age Concern England provides financial and professional support for local Age Concern Organisations and Groups in Age Concern the federation.

In order to fund the wide variety of this work for the benefit of older people, Age Concern needs a consistent and growing flow of, preferably unrestricted, income that it seeks to achieve through a mixture of:

  • Traditional Fundraising (Donations, Covenants, Legacies, Sponsorship, Grants Charity Shops etc.
  • Commercial Trading Activities

Trading is now an integral and significant part of Age Concern’s funding. Please click here to visit the Age Concern website.
