I had to try it myselfOne of our new customers sent us an account of her experience about trialling Aid Call for a week before making any purchase. This is what he told us...“The Daily Mail often has a page of adverts for those of a ‘certain age’, bath-hoists, walking frames, stair lifts, two for the price of one, free gifts and the one that I’d been looking for, ’Aid Call’. I rang for a brochure and was pleased to hear not a robot voice, but Lyn, loud and clear (what a suitable name for a lass from Devon, Lynmouth - the next place to heaven!). When I came downstairs the brochure was lying on the mat the very next morning – you can’t beat that! I soon decided I had to have one, so I rang for a demonstration and got Lyn again – how lucky am I! As before Lyn was merry and bright and surprised me by asking if “today would be ok for a demonstration? Our local advisor is in your area this afternoon, not far from you. I’ll call him to check its ok and will call you back.” She did and Mr Holmes would fit me in the same day. By tea-time it was all in working order. The button worked, upstairs and beyond the flower border. Paper-work completed, all I had to do was sign to acknowledge that the ‘box of tricks’ was yours, not mine, and then I had to try it myself. I’ve tested it daily for a week as I was told to do (well nearly, I may have missed a day or two!). The operators are cheerful and greet you by your name. In an emergency I’m sure they’d be the same. I no longer feel alone.” |
