The Aid Call service video

Welcome to Aid Call

No-one wants to give up their feeling of independence but the days when the family all lived around the corner are long gone. So even the most confident and competent person living alone can sometimes feel isolated and insecure.

Over 40,000 people throughout the UK rely on the Aid Call emergency alarm service. Although it is owned by Age Concern, by no means are all the customers elderly, some have a physical disability, or a chronic condition such as epilepsy or diabetes. Some are recovering from illness, while others are more concerned for their security than their health.

Aid Call is owned by Age Concern, the largest older person’s charitable network in the UK. With over 300,000 volunteers and staff it is dedicated to promoting the well being of older people. All of Aid Call’s profits help to fund the works of Age Concern England, a registered charity.
