How the System Works

The Nurse Presence ID feature provides a permanent record of the nurse in attendance.

This facility allows you to track and monitor individual staff activity i.e. which member of staff is answering which call and when. This helps to provide greater clarity and accountability in a care management environment. When combined with the Aid Call's Call Logging system, management are able to analyse response and attendance times at client and nurse level.

The IRTX5000 is a portable infra-red trigger designed to show the presence and identity of the nurse at an ATX4000 or ATX5000. It has a short operational range, approximately 1 metre. There are two methods of operation:

1. Following an alarm from the call point the carer presses the button to show the system that a nurse is present and who it is.
2. The carer presses the button to show a nurse is present (rounds mode).

The call can be cancelled from the ATX or from the IRTX5000.
