Our Technology

The Aid Call Nurse Call Systems are based on the use of a radio platform which provides numerous benefits. None of the constraints inherent in a conventional hard wired system apply because there is virtually no wiring, this allows minimal disruption to your premises and therefore to your staff and patients during installation.

The systems are designed to meet the required EU standards for performance and safety and environmental consideration, these include EMC, the Low Voltage directive and RoHS & WEEE standards.

The customers cost of ownership is a high priority when designing our systems so each product is designed to use 'standard' readily available batteries and they are user serviceable. We also design our systems to provide ease of maintenance, for example the call point transmitter is simply configured using it's buttons, no tools are required, so on-site maintenance staff can perform first line routine maintenance.

Our radio technology uses high performance narrow band RF technology and all signalling is encrypted to provide security and reliability of operation. These systems are tested to the EU technical safety critical 'Class 1' standard (EN300-220).

Each radio message transmitted by the system is encoded and error checked, and using two way radio with collision detection technologies, its receipt is acknowledged to ensure that messages are reliably delivered even if multiple devices were to be activated simultaneously.
